The Demonstration Orchard at Hāmākua Harvest is a budding farm & orchard that is home to a multitude of the most economically & environmentally viable specialty crops for the region, including fruits, nuts, spices, native flora, vegetables, & timber on The Hāmākua Coast. Through the combined efforts of community partnerships, volunteers, and paid employees, the space located on the corner of Mamane St. and Māmalahoa HWY, is being transformed into an edible landscape that serves the Honoka’a community with fresh, healthy, food options. 

Through work-parties, classes, and volunteerism, The Demonstration Orchard at Hāmākua Harvest is cultivating a resilient, agriculturally savvy, Honoka’a community, lessening our dependence on imported products, and strengthening our historical and cultural ties.
