Our 2023 Farm Fest has lots of great stuff to enjoy, we are doing our best to create an open-air Farm Festival offering to honor our farmers and our wonderful community!

Hāmākua Harvest, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization that needs your help to continue! Contributions are tax-deductible and a receipt documenting your donation will be provided.

Farm Fest happens the first Sunday in Western Week, a 60-year Honoka‘a community tradition that usually includes the Hawai‘i Saddle Club Rodeo, Paniolo Parade, Block Party, Saloon Girl Contest, and other activities celebrating Paniolo culture and history on Hawai‘i Island. What Will I See and Do during Farm Fest?

Hula and Culture!

Immerse in true Hawaiian culture as Joshua Lanakila Mangauil of HŌʻĀ opens festivities with a traditional Hawaiian protocol and again as his hula hālau takes the stage.

Keiki Activities!

Delight your keiki with a wide range of fun activities that include a petting zoo, games, garden activities, and arts and crafts.

Local Music

Enjoy some of the district’s best musicians as they share their unique talents for your listening and foot stomping pleasure. Music and entertainment happening all day.
